Dearest reader & downloadership. All apologies for the delays in getting reposts of deleted links. You see, I'm stuck behind the Great Chinese Firewall and a certain New York Times article which has outed Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's family's business dealings has the 50,000 strong internet censors in these parts throttling back speeds at unheard of rates. So, I sit stuck behind this VPN which is causing page load times that rival the days sitting of at dad's dial up connection on his black and white IBM computer in the late '80s. Times really can be tough in the Muddled Kingdom.

Luckily, this here little share was upped days beforehand, so we'll be able to enjoy it as long as it lasts.

One step back, two steps forward. Sound Compendium Home Library goes back in time a few volumes to bring you a spooky Halloween treat. Enjoy an hour and seven minutes of Eros Plus Massacre's 33 frightful, blood smearing, bone chilling tracks.

  1. Single Track Mix:

    Dear all,

As you may know I've had trouble keeping links alive recently. I am totally dedicated to combating this problem and re-upping with every bogus report. However, I would like to ask your suggestions on the best rout to take since Mediafire seems incapable sifting real from bogus reports and maintaining the files for public consumption. I would prefer something with fewer ads, ease of use, and no fake or difficult-to-decipher bullshit links on the DL page. That's the attraction of Meidafire. Simple upload, and for downloaders, click the link and click the file, easy as 1-2. All suggestions welcomed.

  2. Dear Highplainsdrifter!

I really luv Your site & the music You are sharing! Top Tracks in top audio quality ... thank You sooo much!

I am a big fan of the 1970s-italian-music too and suggest You to have a look at the following video-clip, a little slideshow, I produced for my YT-Channel ... have fun & please comment on it?!

For Your download questions I suggest a combination of three file-hosters, mediafire, rapidshare & zippyshare ... just publish those three links every time & one of it will work fine for sure ... I saw that way/system at Rappamelo`s, a great site as well, and it works!

All the best & keep on groovin

    1. Hey Easywind. I did go to your YouTube clips, and I very much enjoyed them, especially the 30 minute tribute to album covers was put together quite nicely. You even had Umiliani's muppet song on there which was a treat.

The thing is, I saw so many album covers I've never seen before and was wondering whether or not you actually have them or not? And whether or not you have a share site or are ever thinking of doing one?

  3. Hello Highplainsdrifter!

Thanx a lot for Your comment! It is my pleasure, that You enjoyed my italo-slideshows! After correcting every single album-cover digitally, I put together about 300 covers for the big show & about 175 album-covers for the smaller one ... when You look for the exact title, You will find several tracks to each (!) of all those albums at my YouTube-Channel "Easywind Explores" ...

And, if You like, You will find other tribute-shows, for example, a tribute to the cover-art & music of the fantastic Compiler Fraykerbreaks/Frayker`s Revenge, "Fraykerbreaks`Great Cover Art", there too ...

You asked, if I do own all those italian albums shown in my slideshows? ... I do not own them all, but about 75% of them. But only as mp3-files and not on vinyl ... time ago I came from the blaxploitation-soundtrack-corner to the music of the 1970s in Italy. And from that point on, I was "hooked on the italian-style" ...

I do not run a sharing-site or blog myself, but was active at a great site called "Isbum`s FYIP2", which was closed up, about a year ago, & which I miss desperatly! The reason is, that I found the most of my italian-collection at that site ... I am looking for similar music-sharing-sites, with the focus on italian-soundtracks, but up to now without success ... but from time to time I find interesting single soundtracks at other blogs I am following & so my collection still grows ...

If You like to share music with me, it will be my pleasure, to get in contact with You by e-mail first & then, maybe(?), exchange copies? Contact:

All the best for You great site!

    1. Hey Easy,

Thanks for that extended response and all the info. It's a lot of info which I've happily digested.

I'd love to exchange some digi-albums. I throw you an email soonly to work something out.

Interesting, I came to the Italian Cine-Groove in much the same way, over from deep funk and soul to blaxploitation and so on. Of course, blaxploitationpride, which you know doubt know, was greatly responsible for that early development. Sites like that are cultural heritage sites in important. We must keep them alive!

In touch with you soon, sir!

  4. Hello again!

I would like to advertise a great web-forum, which deals with black-music in general, funky stuff, (italian)-soundtracks, cool library music & 1970s european-music ... groovy funky music & very nice people there! And I run a little chapter there "Easywind`s Diary" ... I f You like, visit the BMF (Black Music Forum) at:

  5. Hello again!

If You are looking for rare (italian-) soundtracks to buy, this might be a good adress for You?

If You look for some great italian soundtracks You will find some of them there:

  6. I'll second Easywinds suggestion of the combination of three file-hosters, mediafire, rapidshare & zippyshare. I for one have been using rapidshare for some time, and my paid version has been flawless. A lot of folks complain about rapidshare, but I think they're using the free version, which isn't the fastest in the world!! What's to be expected today for free??? Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

  7. Pleаse lеt me know if yοu're looking for a writer for your weblog. You have some really good articles and I think I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I'd rеallу like to write some material foг your blоg in exchange for а link back tο mine.
Please shοot me an e-mail if intеreѕteԁ.
